Before & After School Care Program
2026–2027 School Year
We are excited to share information about our Eagle Nest Fee-Based Before and After School Care Program at J. Colin English Elementary! 🎉
As many families are aware, the School District of Lee County has implemented new proximity zones for the 2026–2027 school year. With these changes, we anticipate that more families may benefit from before and after school care services. Our team has worked hard to ensure our program provides a safe, supportive, and convenient option for our J. Colin English families.
🕒 Program Hours
🌅 Morning Care 6:45 AM – 8:00 AM
🌞 After School Care 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
💰 Tuition & Payment Information
Our program operates on a flat-rate weekly tuition system.
📌 Tuition is charged weekly regardless of attendance.
📌 Payment is required every week during the school year to maintain enrollment.
Payment Deadline
🗓️ Tuition fees are due each Friday by 5:30 PM for the upcoming week.
⚠️ A $10 late fee per child, per week will be charged for payments received after 5:30 PM on Friday.
📖 The School District of Lee County is prohibited from extending credit to individuals under Article VII of the Florida Constitution. 🚫 Three (3) late payments will result in dismissal from the program.
❗ No discounts or refunds will be provided for absences.
Registration Fees
👧 One Child: $25
👨👩👧👦 Family Rate (2 or more siblings): $40
🌤️ Early Dismissal Days
❌ Afternoon Fee-Based Programs are not available on Early Dismissal Days. ✅ Morning Care will still operate as scheduled.
🌅 Morning Care Fees
$25 per week, per child
⚠️ Three late payments will result in dismissal from the program.
💳 Late fees will automatically be added to your child's School Cash account by the Director.
🌞 After School Care Fees
$60 per week, per child
⚠️ Three late payments will result in dismissal from the program.
💳 Late fees will automatically be added to your child's School Cash account by the Director.
Late Pick-Up Fees
⏰ A fee of $1.00 per minute, per child will be charged for pick-ups after closing time.
💵 Late pick-up fees are due upon arrival.
🚫 Three late pick-ups will result in dismissal from the program.
📲 How Do I Register?
To begin the registration process:
1️⃣ Complete the Registration form at school
2️⃣ Pay the Registration Fee.
3️⃣ Sign up for School Cash Online.
