Technology
in the JCE Classroom: Reading
- Students take AR tests as part of the Reading Renaissance
program and use Earobics software to increase proficiency
with phonics and spelling.
Math
- Our Math series, Scott Foresman, provides software
for students to work on manipulatives for each learning
strand. Classrooms also have access to many games that
focus on increasing computational fluency with math
facts.
Science
and Social Studies - Students
can access software and websites that supplement that
district curriculum.
Writing
- Students learn to use office documents, such as Word,
PowerPoint, and Excel to complete reports, gather data,
and make presentations.
